About Us!

We’re going to use this page to let you all know a little more about who we are!

Hi! I’m cumingirl. I’m a stay at home mom to my two children. I met my husband in high school and we married young. We’ve been together for a total of 17 years already! We’re both Christians and attend a Baptist church. We’ve had typical ups and downs that come with being married, but overall we have a solid marriage, and we’ve grown so much since we first said our vows.

I’ve been friends with the other authors of this blog for a while now. I’ve come to love each one of these ladies. It’s such a blessing to have wonderful Christian women that you can count on in good times and in bad. I chose the spice of cumin to be my username. I read a little about it and just knew it was for me. Look at what wikipedia says about cumin:

“Cumin can be used to season many dishes, as it draws out their natural sweetnesses. It is traditionally added to curries, enchiladas, tacos, and other Middle-eastern, Indian, Cuban and Mexican-style foods. It can also be added to salsa to give it extra flavour.

Superstition during the Middle Ages cited that cumin kept chickens and lovers from wandering. It was also believed that a happy life awaited the bride and groom who carried cumin seed throughout the wedding ceremony.”

So cumin adds flavor to foods! Not too much though. Just a little can go a long way. I’d like to think that this is me….adding flavor to discussions! I also laughed at the folklore about the bride and groom carrying it in their wedding ceremony. So I found a sexy diva avatar and added my name!

Hi everyone! I’m cinnamonsticks. I’ve been married to my husband for about 10 years and we are blessed to be the parents of two children. We feel very thankful that we have so much fun as a family. I started my walk with God at a very young age. In fact, I don’t remember a time when I ever did not recognize Him as my Savior. I love seeing Him at work in the world and in my life. I love the way He makes me feel alive in every way.

Cinnamon is one of my favorite spices. Probably the only spice I use more is garlic (but who wants to be garlicgirl). Cinnamon is sweet and spicy which I think describes me well. Cinnamon sticks are used practically and also decoratively, and if you know me, you know that as important as it is to me that things be practical, I also love it when something makes my world more beautiful.

The message of exciting sexuality in marriage is something I am passionate about. The Christian Nympho blog is an excellent platform for me to speak out on a subject that God has given me a heart for, but for now has not called me to speak on publicly.

Hi! My name is Spicynutmeg. I am a work out of the home Mom. I met and married the world’s greatest man and we’ve been married over 12 years. I have 2 wonderful children that keep me busy and on my toes. We are both Christians and have been attending a nondenominational Bible church for almost 9 years now.

Like my good friend, cumingirl, I have been friends for quite awhile with all the authors on this blog. They are like sisters to me, and ya know, we’re all sisters in Christ. I cannot imagine my life without their friendship in it at all. I know that I have been through a lot in the past 2 years going through a sexual awakening that I am sure I will blog about. I hope that the experiences I have had in the past 2 years that have changed my marriage into a threesome (God, me and my husband) will help someone else out that doesn’t think there is any hope for their marriage and their marriage bed.

I chose my name nutmeg for the following reason. The nutmeg seed is encased in a mottled yellow, edible fruit, the approximate size and shape of a small peach. The fruit splits in half to reveal a net-like, bright red covering over the seed. This is the aril which is collected, dried and sold as mace. Under the aril is a dark shiny nut-like pit, and inside that is the oval shaped seed which is the nutmeg. I feel that I have been encased in Satan’s lies and deceit for most of my married life, and it isn’t until the past year that God opened my heart to reveal the truth to me. Nutmeg is usually associated with sweet, spicy dishes — pies, puddings, custards, cookies and spice cakes. It combines well with many cheeses, and is included in soufflés and cheese sauces. In soups it works with tomatoes, slit pea, chicken or black beans. It complements egg dishes and vegetables like cabbage, spinach, broccoli, beans onions and eggplant. It flavours Italian mortadella sausages, Scottish haggis and Middle Eastern lamb dishes. It is often included as part of the Moroccan spice blend ras el hanout. It is indispensable to eggnog and numerous mulled wines and punches. It also has medicinal qualities like improving appetite and digestion.

So I hope that you enjoy our blog and get some insight on God’s plan for sex in marriage. It is the best wedding gift that you get from God! May God bless and keep you in all the days of your life!

Hi, I am Peppermintgirl!!! My husband and I have been married for 9 years and we are both Christians. I am a stay at home mom to 5 kids. The other authors on this blog are my sisters as well as mentors. I look up and admire them more than words can say. In a way they are each a piece of peppermint to me. I feel like I can identify with my name on a few different levels. Peppermint has been found to stop fungi and bacteria growth. Just as peppermint keeps out unwanted fungi and bacteria I to will do my best to keep out Satan’s lies and deception. It is also a stimulant. In my bedroom I am my husband’s stimulant. Instead of him reaching for that cup of coffee first thing in the morning he reaches for me. Peppermint is mentioned in the Bible as being a ‘God given healing herb’. I feel that most of us need healing on some level. I hope this blog can be a little piece of peppermint to you, our readers.

Hello there!
I’m GingerMama. I am a sahm with a bunch of wicked cute kiddoes who keep me really busy. GingerPapa and I have been married for about 14 years, and our marriage only gets better and better.

Sex has always been an important part of our relationship, and we’ve been blessed with great chemistry in that area, although we have had some rough patches over the years. About a year and a half ago I underwent a sexual reawakening of sorts. I saw that I had limited myself sexually because I carried around a lot of baggage left over from “Christian” theology that wasn’t based on Scripture. Since then I have made it my business to talk to my married Christian girlfriends about the joys of sex. I like to encourage them to be adventurous and to really be completely available to their husbands. I see this as my little ministry.

I view this blog in the same light: an effort to help Christian women to live fully, wholeheartedly, relishing this great gift that has been given to us. It is my prayer that all who read this blog will be blessed by its contents.

Hey ya’ll!
I’m Sugar and Spice and I’m the latest addition to this spicy bunch of gals. Rest assured that I’ve been with them from the beginning of this blog… just more behind the scenes.

I have been with my darling husband for over a decade and together we have three sweethearts. We enjoy serving our local church in many facets including administration, children’s and youth programs, worship team, maintenance and teaching. When I’m not focusing on a spicy marriage bed, the majority of my time is filled by being a SAHM and connecting with people both on line and in person.

I chose my name because Sugar and Spice is the way that I live my life: I have a friendly disposition… but I can be sassy too. I desire to always speak in truth and love, although I’m the first to admit that I’m a work in progress. (But, aren’t we all?) As disciples of our Lord, it’s important to live with a Christ-centered attitude. Everything that we do, should glorify His name and that includes what happens in our bedrooms. I believe that the Church has missed the mark when it comes to sexuality and it’s time for us to help rewrite the World’s sexual recipes!

Position of the Week!

We are all excited about Position of the Week Day here on Christian Nymphos! Each and every Friday, we will post about a new position. We will try to describe it and explain how it works. We’ll give pros and cons from our point of view, and we will also give it a difficulty rating. Some of the positions may be used for oral, anal, and/or vaginal sex.

So don’t forget to check back with us each Friday, to see what position we are featuring that week! Just click on the category on the right that says: “Position of the Week.” Then maybe you will want to leave us some feedback as to how that position does or does not work for you. May God bless your marriages!

About Christianity

Each author on this blog is a Christian. We each have accepted the free gift of salvation from God through our Lord Jesus Christ. What do we mean that we are Christians? What do we believe?

When God created the world, He intended it to be sinless, just as He is. In the Garden of Eden stood the only tree that was forbidden by God to eat from out of all the other trees in the garden. Adam and Eve were deceived by Satan, in the form of a serpent, and disobeyed God by choosing to eat the fruit of the forbidden tree. At this point, sin entered the world, and Adam and Eve were banned from the garden. But God had a plan to completely wipe away all of our sin, though. A one time deal.

The Bible tells us that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) As long as there is sin in our lives, we are forever separated from God. But God loved us so much that “he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” (John 3:16-17)

Scripture also teaches us that through faith, and not works, is how we receive our salvation. There is no amount of good works that can be done to obtain salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not of works, so that no one can boast.” Jesus Christ took on all of our sins on the cross. He overcame death for us, so that we might live eternally.

This means we must each come to God the same way:
(1) as a sinner who recognizes his sinfulness,
(2) realizes no human works can result in salvation, and
(3) relies totally on Christ alone by faith alone for our salvation.

This gift is free for the taking. God has stretched his hand out to you…If you haven’t already, will you take the free Gift He is handing you?

Monday’s Mission

We have decided to start something new here at Christian Nymphos. Every Monday we will blog about a new challenge for the week. These challenges will vary from week to week. Some may be of a sexual nature, while others may be focused more on intimacy and communication in your marriage. We will issue a new challenge each Monday in the hopes that you will try to find a way to incorporate it into your upcoming week.

We realize that everyone will not be able to do every idea we throw out, and that’s okay! Our goal is to provide some fun and creative ideas for all you ladies out there. You will find these weekly challenges in the category to the right called: Monday’s Mission.

If you are able to accept one of our challenges, please comment and let us know how it went! We pray God’s blessings on your marriage.

Hi everyone! I’m cinnamonsticks. I’ve been married to my husband for 9 years and we are blessed to be the parents of two cutie pies. When they see us kiss or hug, they always want to get in on the action. We feel very blessed that we have so much fun as a family.
