I am thankful for….

In lieu of a weekly poll, we wanted to give you the opportunity to comment on the things you are most thankful for.   There are too many things to add into a poll about it, so feel free to put your answers in the comment section…

So faithful readers, what are you thankful for?

  1. My wonderful supportive husband who has been so sweet during my entire pregnancy. We are usually crazy Nymphos but being 8 months pregnant has slowed that a lot. He is still so supportive and patient with me. He is so helpful and always there for me and I thank God for him daily.

  2. I thought I would add mine here.

First of all, I am thankful to God for creating me, and for giving me all the blessings I have. I am thankful that He sent his Son to take on my sins and die in my place. Thank you, Jesus, for loving me that much that you would do that for a lowly sinner like me.

I am forever thankful to be married to the most wonderful, patient man in the world. He totally amazes me with all his talents and abilities. He is my best friend, my soulmate, my lover, and I wouldn’t want to live a day without him in my life. I am thankful that I have been blessed with two wonderful children. My son today told me, “You are always saying you are proud of me.”… and it’s because I am. I am thankful for our good health, the roof over our head, our jobs, our families and friends. I don’t think there is anything I am not thankful for.

I am especially thankful and grateful to my sisters on this blog. This blog was a huge task and we each bring our own special skills, knowledge and experiences to it. I truly believe God speaks through our fingers as we type each daily entry. We compliment each other and are the best of friends. Thank you, Lord, for these sisters in Christ.

And I want to thank all you faithful readers for checking us out daily and for recommending us to others. To God be the Glory!

I am thankful that my wife is becoming more and more open and responsive sexuallly.

  4. I’m thankful for :
    This blog
    My salvation
That both my parents are alive, saved, still married and healthy to boot
A DH who just happens to be my best friend
A healthy son who is so easy to love
A healthy body that allows me to serve and love my family
A wonderful and very competent housekeeper
Peace in the town where i live
    Healthy food in the fridge
    A roof above my head
A comfortable bed to sleep in
    Wonderful neighbours
Siblings and in-laws who TRULY love me.

Writing this list really is making me feel like an ungrateful wretch, ‘cos I’m wondering – What have I given back to God for all this ? I really should go and work on this. Thanks c-nymphos for making me THINK.

  5. I grow even more thankful each year that I can feel the warmth of my wife next to me every night in bed. I’m not sure if I would still be here if it wasn’t for her and her strength.

  6. This year I am probably more thankful than I have been in past years for how hard my husband works and for our jobs and our home. It has been such a rough time with the job cuts and all and we were included but he pressed on and we are doing fine. I am thankful for healthy family, and pray that we continue to be without major health problems. I am also thankful for this site and the ladies who have opened my eyes, and got my creative juices flowing! 🙂

  7. I am thankful that our God is a God of reconciliation… We are reconciled to Him through Christ Jesus and He desires that we are reconciled with each other. My husband and I have been working through the incredibly difficult process of reconciling after he he admitted to an affair several months ago.
It is a miracle, but our relationship is better now that it has ever been and I can truly say that I am thankful for what we have gone through… I do not say that lightly – it has been the most painful thing I have ever been through and I wish we could have gotten to this point some other way, but God has truly worked a miracle in both of us and used this horrible situation for good in both of our lives.
In EVERYTHING give thanks! ALL things work together for good for those who love Christ Jesus!
