Sept.12: The Power of a Praying Woman by Stormie OMartian
Your mission this week is to get a black light for one of the lamps in your bedroom. Where something sexy and WHITE and invite your husband in after the sun goes down. Your white clothes will glow in the dark, and apparently a yellow highlighter is quite reflective too. You could write your husband messages on your body for him to find. You can find inexpensive black lightbulbs in many big box stores. Have fun!

We have great memories of a time my husband brought a black light to the bedroom! We did not know about the highlighter part, though.

does anyone have suggestions as to where to purchase a black light? could i get a light bulb at lowe’s or home depot or would I need to purchase a fixture?
Yep, you can just get a regular bulb that fits in your existing lamps. Any hardware store should have them.

FLourescent colors also stand out well under black lights. Pasties in flourescent make for funhide and seek!
This is a GREAT Idea. My husband and I are celebrating our first anniversary on Sunday. Since we don’t have much money we are just doing a nice dinner out. This is going to be a great idea to spice things up in the evening. My husband is going to love it. Thanks so much!

I ended up getting 2 black light bulbs at Lowe’s. They were about $5.50 each.
My husband had been out of town all week and it was so fun to have this surprise waiting for him. To say he “loved” it was an understatement. He also took a turn with the highlighter after I let him in on the secret of the evenings events.
It was definitely something we had fun with and will tuck into our arsenal of tricks.

Did it! My honey thought it was slightly odd that I volunteered to go get light bulbs (we needed some normal ones for the bathroom). He figured out why that night. 😀 Thanks Spice Girls!

I’ve done the black light before, but this time I added the highlighter. I drew arrows pointing to certain spots. I would recommend drawing near the black light. It was hard in regular light to see what I was drawing. I added a rather large necklace with big pearls spread out randomly hanging off the chain. They shimmered in the black light quite nicely. That and a white thong and I was done–I think he liked it! Oh, the black light also makes you look nice and tan–which I am not under normal light!
since my H gets uncomfortable with me singing and dancing for him I am making this my mission for this week. I came to CN in July and didn’t discover the Monday Missions until after this one had run its course but I have the white nightie. Now to go to K-Mart for a black light!
