Have you heard? Yes, we are starting our first ever CN Book Study on Monday, January 31st! Bet you aren’t as excited as I am! 🙂
When searching for which book to start off with, I quickly gravitated to the book Sacred Sex, by: Tim Alan Gardner. Why? Well the first reason was because it got great reviews on Amazon. 😆 The title was also intriguing, and I had remembered hearing someone mention the book some time back. I don’t remember whether they were speaking highly of the book or not, and since I myself have not read it yet, I guess we’ll read it together and decide for ourselves if it has merit.
I have skimmed the book and am here to tell you that it was written primarily for couples to read together. With that in mind, if you’d like to invite your husband to read it with you then go for it! At the end of each chapter it gives you five questions relating to that chapter that will help start a dialogue between you and your husband. So if you two are reading it together, then the questions will serve to help you communicate to each other. The questions may also help to give us a starting place for our discussions here on Mondays.
So order your copy soon (around $11 with free super saver shipping on Amazon!) or download it on your electronic reader or reserve a copy at your local library. Go ahead and get the introduction and first chapter read and be ready to give us your thoughts on Monday, January 31st! See you back here then!

My book came today and I can’t wait to dive in! Thanks for the great idea.
I think I’ll re-read it with y’all….
Sure I am game to read it with everyone.:) Hopefully I can get DH to join in.:)
Just ordered the book from Amazon. The book study is a great idea!
Got the book from the library– you should’ve seen the librarian’s reaction!– and can’t wait to get started! 🙂
I got it from the library. Now I’m just waiting for the study to start.
I think it is such a good idea to have a book study. I checked out the book from the library and started reading. I have also started reading Sheet Music by Kevin Leman. I have heard many ladies talk about it (Sheet Music) and honestly it is a book I wish I had read before marriage, but even now has been insightful and plan on reading with my husband.
I have the book and have never got around to reading it, think I will get stuck in and join you
We will be joining as well!
