In all of these stories, the man and woman are married and share a godly worldview. Sex is portrayed as a gift from God and something to be shared in fidelity between a husband and wife.
Please visit the website to learn more details about the great resource being offered, but the essence is that you select how graphic you want your story to be based on a “Flame Rating” of 2 to 4 and then you input your own details such as your name and physical features as well as your preferred terms for different body parts and the season of life that you are in. The survey used to collect this information is extensive so that the writers of the stories can do a good job of making the story personal to you and your husband.
The creators of this website sent us an example of a story in several different Flame Ratings so that we could provide you with a fair review and after reading the stories I can whole heartedly say that I do fully support this ministry. Due to the stories being written from a biblical perspective of sex, even a 4 Flame story (the most descriptive level) is not offensive. It portrays you and your husband having great sex without having to resort to bringing in elements of multiple partners, same sex titillation, or voyeurism as is common in most erotica on the internet. It is about the freedom of enjoying sex within marriage.
There is a $12.95 cost associated with acquiring a story which is a little steep in my opinion, but given that the stories range from 12-20 pages and are better written than a lot of other personalized stories I have read like this, the stories themselves do have value. The writers take the time to create situations that could actually end up happening so it draws you into the story. They are well written and can easily be edited by you after you receive the story if you prefer to express ideas a bit differently.
So if you are looking for a new way to spice up your sex life, St. Cyrano is a really good option. Let us know what you think if you decide to give it a try.

My husband was horrified and put his foot down FLAT. His argument was that even though they’re using our details, it’s still not us… *sigh* I can kinda see his point but I was very disappointed with his reaction.
I purchased one of the stories right after Valentine’s Day. It’s not at all offensive, because they used my choice of wording for everything related to the sexual encounters. My story was about a surprise getaway with my husband. We went on a picnic and hiking in a secluded area of a nature park not too far from home. The story was very exciting and caused us to imagine it actually happening to us. Reading a story puts all sorts of pictures in our imaginations and this story puts pictures of our own lover in mind, and draws us closer together intimately! Well worth the $14.00 I spent for ‘our’ story!
My husband has bought me two stories so far. At first I was hesitant because romance novels can become like pornography to a woman. However their thoroughness in making the stories personal made it seem like those things could really happen to us someday! Both were uniquely different and did a good job of getting my desire sparked while also holding on to the sacredness of marriage and intimacy.
We’ve used the other website you refer to at the start of the article and found it really useful, but many of their stories required extensive editing either because the [personalised details here] generator made some stupid grammatical error or because the story describes ungodly situations (e.g., pretty much every story clearly isn’t a marriage relationship). But once edited they’re worth having for that spark so long as you set the website to junk mail when not expecting a new story!
We’ve used St Cyrano since reading this review and found it to be a completely different kettle of fish. The story we bought (‘Cast Away’) was far longer, better written and had MUCH more of our personal info in it so it really just does feel like a story about US rather than another couple with our names and hair colour! The whole feel of the story is different too: written within a godly framework it is more a story about us in which we go through certain circumstances which help our relationship grow – and oh yeah, there’s some well-written sex in there too 🙂 Admittedly even from the highest flame rating we did edit the sex scenes to spice them up a bit, but that’ll vary from couple to couple and story to story, I’m sure.
We still go back to the other shorter stories when we just need a quick spark (as the St Cyrano one takes about 20 mins to read), but when it comes to godly romance and personalisation St Cyrano wins hands down. We think they’re worth paying for and are about to order a second one, but the price puts them at the ‘rare treat’ end of the scale for us!
As promised we’ve got a second story since writing this review and think it’s worth updating. Having asked them which stories were steamier they recommended the four-flame ‘Wonderfully Wet’, and we weren’t disappointed! Though the story still focuses on strengthening a godly marriage it gives more time and detail to the intimate scenes, which are very well balanced between explicit and tasteful. ‘Cast Away’ had more of a ‘moral to the story’ and we will return to it, but this new story is a more direct turn-on when we’re feeling less like thinking things through and more like having some fun 🙂
Incidentally (and I promise I don’t work for them :)) St Cyrano are having a sale until the end of August so stories are just under $10 – still not the cheapest option but better than before!
