I honestly don’t remember a time that I WASN’T saved. However, I didn’t say “the prayer” outloud and get baptised until I was 13 years old.
I was 15, but a huge praise…almost 2 months ago now my (then 4 yr old) daughter asked Jesus in her heart all by herself. She told me the next day that she prayed, “Dear Jesus, You don’t have to go to school with me but please come in my heart.”
I was 7, but when I really started to live it and not just sit back and observe was when I was 19. That was also the time I met the man who’s now my hubby :).
Wow, so many women saved young (I was 21). I guess the statistic really is pretty true that it’s important to reach the youth!!
I was 25, I think, when I was saved, so Ann, you are not alone! I wasn’t raised in a Christian home, so I found God through different paths he led me on….my college roommate and my roommate when I moved into “the real world” (being out of my parents home) I was saved at a time when I was at my lowest, and KNEW I couldn’t do it by myself. I needed God and I needed a Savior!
My mom tells me I was 3 when I asked Jesus into my heart. But I remember realizing what it meant that Jesus died for me when I was about 5 or 6. I had gotten in trouble for something and I had this weird glove thing (I don’t remember it well so that’s the best description I can give) that I got from either Sunday school or a Bible study class that had a salvation lesson on it. Somehow, looking at that after getting in trouble got iy into my head that Jesus died for my 5 year old infraction and I started crying and asked Him into my heart again then. That’s what I consider when I got saved although my mom says it was earlier.
i was older too … 27. my DH just became born again a few years ago, he was 46.
That is the cutest thing ever. What a blessing!
I was saved (along with the rest of humanity) when Jesus died on the cross and took away my sins. I was baptized as an infant and grew up in a tradition of faith. Even when a person does not know/accept Christ as their savior, he never leaves their side so there was never a moment when I wasn’t saved.
