This article is the most difficult article I have ever written.  It is difficult because I am signing off as an author on Christian Nymphos.  Unfortunately, I am going through some personal challenges in my life at the present time.  They are nothing major but they are keeping me from being able put the effort into the blog that I have in the past. 

I would first like to thank you, our readers, for helping this blog be so successful!!!!   Not everyone can say that they were mentioned in several articles, Slate being one of them, and asked to do multiple radio interviews.  That was quite an experience, one I will never forget.   I have a feeling that even bigger things are in store for this ministry!!!

The only thing that is more exciting than the articles and interviews is the thought of how many marriages have been helped though this blog.   It is an important ministry and I am so honored to have been a part of it since the beginning.  Many of our readers come here looking for inspiration, encouragement, a prayer request and advice.  Thank you for allowing me, Peppermint Girl, to be a part of that process!!!  

Lastly, THANK YOU to my fellow Spice Girls!!!!  Cinnamon Sticks, Spicy Nutmeg and Cumingirl, each one of you mean something different to me and one is not greater than the other.  Just like this blog, all your individual support and influences come together so perfectly.  You all really do bring something unique to the table.  It saddens me that I won’t be sharing with you in this ministry but know that I am not disappearing and we will always be in touch!!!!  I love you girls!!!

We are thrilled to be announcing the unveiling of our new POSITIONS PAGE! We have been working on it behind the scenes for a while now, and had planned on publishing it at a later date. However, due to emails we have received asking about a complete listing, we have decided to go ahead and publish it now.

On this page you will see every “Position of the Week” that we have had thus far. You will also notice that we have them placed in one of five categories:

1.  The tame positions are easy and relaxed.

2.  The erotic positions are a little more involved.

3.  The acrobatic positions are those that we think are more difficult to achieve by most people. 

4. Outer Course positions include non-penetrative and breast sex positions.  

5. Oral sex positions are clearly visible by the pink icon.

*If it is a position where face-to-face kissing can happen, then you will see a small red heart.

We will continue to update this page weekly by adding the newest “Position of the Week” to the list. In the future we may even be able to have sub-pages for each category. We do realize that eventually we will run out of positions to feature on Fridays, but for now we are still going strong and having a blast with it! We hope this new page makes things easier for everyone.

Christian Nymphos recently celebrated our one year anniversary! The last year has been a fun ride for us and we are very thankful that God has given us this platform to speak what He puts on our hearts each week. We want to wish all of our readers a wonderful week of Christmas and let you know that we will be taking some time off for the rest of the week to celebrate Christ’s birth with our loved ones, and then next week will be dedicated to answering email questions. Today we celebrate the anniversary of our first CN blog article, although we did have one post written a few days prior just to say our first “Hello.” As we look back over this past year and see what God has taught us and see what he has done through our willing hands and hearts, we are deeply humbled. We love the ministry He has entrusted to us and thank those of you who have prayed for and supported us. As we focus our eyes on Him to lead us through the next year we want our message to be clear: we are passionate for God and passionate for all that He has given us, and we want wives to be empowered to embrace that God created them to enjoy their sexuality with their husbands. We love having a voice of unity with so many men and women who are committed to living in Truth. Please enjoy this video in celebration of our first anniversary. Cheers!

This article has taken on a new life of its own.  It was originally intended to be a review about a glass toy.  (Which, if you haven’t tried a glass toy, go ahead and try one out.  I think that you’ll be pleasantly surprised!)  But, this article has turned into a farewell.

After a lot of thought and prayer, I have decided to no longer contribute to the Christian Nymphos blog.  This was a very tough decision to make since I believe that this ministry is truly helping people, but as I prayed about priorities and other facets of my life, it became abundantly clear that I must give up writing for the blog.  Although I didn’t write as frequently as some of the others, it has been a true blessing to come along side my sisters in this ministry and I will continue to support them in their endeavors.

Thank you to my girls and to the regular readers of the CN blog.  You all have been a great encouragement to me.  I hope to pop in from time to time to leave a comment or two and I’ll still be around on The Marriage Bed contributing over there.  Blessings to all of you as you continue to improve your relationships with your spouses and with the Lord.

We are taking a couple of days off this week as many of us spend time with our families celebrating Thanksgiving. We will be back again on Monday with our usual articles, plus a new series of articles beginning where we will be interviewing guests who have a variety of experiences in the area of marriage and intimacy.

We hope you have an opportunity to reflect on the blessings in your life this week and we want to extend our thanks, first, to the Lord Jesus for showing us the way to have a life full of meaning and purpose. We believe that we weren’t only saved from something (separation from God), but also that we were saved to something (responding to His Spirit as He invites us to minister His heart on the earth.) We are also incredibly thankful for our husbands and children. Our homes, though not perfect, are filled with much happiness and peace. And we thank you, our readers, for hearing our message.

If you are visiting us for the very first time, we would like to welcome you to Christian Nymphos! We were excited to see our little blog get referred to from an article on SLATE, and if this is your first time to visit our site, we would like you to know that we are more than a site that “offer(s) candid how-to advice on anal sex, fisting, and masturbating for your husband.” We are six ladies who want married Christians to know the “YES” behind sex within marriage and not the “NO” that we have always heard from the church. God intends for sex to be between a husband and a wife, and He intends for it to be so much more than we can imagine. It is our hope that married women who read our blog will not only have a place where they can read from real women who have the same problems that they do, but also to feel like they can spice up their marriage beds without feeling guilt or shame. It is our goal to take the negative spin off the term “nympho” and show it in a new and more positive light.

We hope that you will take the time to read our “What We Stand For” page to learn more about us. We have Bible studies weekly about women in the Bible and trials and troubles that they had that we can learn from. We have a “Monday’s Mission” in which we challenge women to try something new with their spouse each week. We felt compelled to address this issue because we have tried to be clear from the beginning that we are here to provide useful information to married, Christian women and yet it has never been our desire to titillate our readers with our own experiences. We always research incoming links that are showing up on our stat page and in doing so we came across a woman who said she had become aroused by reading our blog and for that reason she did not feel good about reading here. We certainly applaud her awareness of what boundaries she needs to establish for her own purity, and yet it caused us to re-evaluate if we have stepped over the line.

While each of us “spice sisters” agrees that the information we are offering is an important message for the church, we do not want to set up a stumbling block for anyone. After considering our writing style we are even more convinced that for those who want and need it, our desire to provide pertinent information for women regarding godly sexuality in a respectful manner does offer something of value to the church. However, as encouraging as it is to see how many people read our blog daily, if what you are reading here arouses you in a way that takes your eyes off your spouse, it is better for you to guard your heart and chose other information to read.

Having said that, if what you read here focuses your eyes more intently on your spouse and you are drawn more closely to them because of it, then we encourage that sort of arousal. Godly information about sex spoken to a woman who is fully aware of who God made her to be in bed with her husband ought to be arousing. If she considers the idea of applying what she reads here to her own marriage and is aroused, we think that is appropriate. The line is that you are not aroused generally by something external or something that is not yours to lust after, but by your own passion for your husband (or wife, for the husbands who read here).

We know we are not going to please everyone and we make no apologies for our overt dialogue about sex, but we want to simply encourage you to be aware of your own necessary boundaries.
